pdxWAKE makes a $500 donation to the Save Boaters Rights Coalition for Oregon www.saveboatersrights.com
This article is long overdue, but just like you, we have been trying to enjoy the water while we have this nice weather! We would like to thank everyone that attended the pdxWAKE event on July 11th. We would especially like to thank those that pitched in for raffle tickets. Those of you that were there know that the raffle prizes were amazing. We saw multiple members walk away with wakeboard packages, surfboards, apparell, professional photo shoots, auto/boat details, wake accessories, and much much more. Congratulations to you guys and thanks for making the donations to get raffle tickets. All of those donations were collected and donated right to www.saveboatersrights.com Donations totaled $500 after all was said and done! That is an amazing achievement! Save Boaters Rights Coalition exists for the sole purpose of protecting our rights as boaters and helping us preserve our rights to use our waterways. All donations are used to pay representation to help us protect that right. If you have not done so, please login and sign up at www.saveboatersrights.com . It is free, but certainly a small donation will go a long way in protecting our rights. Thanks again guys. You are awesome! Oregon State Marine Board passes legislation that affects you!
Did you know the Oregon State Marine Board (OSMB) just passed legislation that does not allow you to use your ballast, wedge or any wake enhancing devices on a 17 mile stretch of the Willamette River. That means no surfing also. Yes this is a public waterway and it will go into effect next year. Please login and share your opinion and any help you can offer in this issue. < Click here...>
