Looking at picking up a Wakeskate. Would prefer one with foam rubber top instead of the grip tape. Any recomendations?

I prefer the grip tape but may be in the minority. The foam for me tends to start flaking off after a while.

The reason I want foam is that I don't want to have to wear shoes when I ride.

I have a liquid force skate that is wood with rubber deck and I agree it's nice not to wear shoes. they start to smell and never dry in the boat!
Mine is a Faction and it's like a 100 bucks so you can't go wrong. |

I ended up getting a Hyperlite Stylus 45 from Active. Seems to work pretty well.
