Hey!! I'm Jeanie and I'm looking for a group of ladies to ride with. For some reason when I'm snowboarding or wakeboarding with girls I learn so much more! I can jump the wake and should start doing some grabs but definitely want to progress.
I don't have a boat but have my own board! My boyfriend has a boat but he lives in Seattle but is down here some weekends!
Anyone going out this weekend?? Let me know!! |

Welcome to PDXWake! This is a great place to find people who enjoy watersports. Another place you can check out for girls that ride is NW4 (Northwest Women Who Wakeboard) they have a facebook, myspace, twitter and blog. They're geared toward helping all women of all ages help develop their skills. It's a fairly new group but they are very active.
A great place to start meeting some people are Wet Wednesdays... I don't know if there will be one this week. Keep checking the posts on Who's Riding Today and General Discussion for more info. There's usually a lot of people and it's a lot of fun!
There are also some pretty awesome events coming up where you might want to meet up with some people. This weekend is WakeJam2009 on the Portland Waterfront. I know that Koppert Lake has a bunch of events lined up as well!

| My boyfriend is coming down for PDXwake this weekend...we'll be going Friday and Saturday. He's also bringing his boat down if you guys are interested in riding...we'll probably go out Sunday morning. I heard Koppert Lake was awesome! And I just joined NW4 too last week. Hi-- hey, we go to Sauvie frequently and we usually have a seat or two open-- McNellie is a regular on our boat (Hi M!). We might get out tomorrow night if anyone is up for it... this weather is ridiculous and the ONLY place to be is on the water.
