Just got back from Foster. Actually, I quite liked it. We spent 6 hours there and had a lot of fun.

* Absolutely beautiful water and shoreline.

* There is a new ramp right off Hwy 20 that's really nice (see below)

* When we dropped in a 10am we were the first big boat on the water. So it was really smooth.

* There were a few large logs floating around, but it was easy to dodge them.

* The depth is anywhere from 30 - 100 feet deep.

* Water is super clean and clear. Temp = 59 degrees.

* Wind kicked up in the afternoon and made some chop, but we found good water down by the dam.

* Considering it was Memorial Day, I can't believe how few boats were out... In the morning, we were one of only 5 or so on the entire lake. By afternoon I estimate there were no more than 25 - 30 boats. Not bad!

Overall great day with the family on the water!

I wanted to see if anybody is headed to Foster Lake for the weekend of 8/28-8/30. If so my wife and I have a reserved spot that we have paid for that we will not be able to use. If anybody is interested send me a PM and I will make you a sweet deal on it.
