Spent a very nice 3 hours out on Wednesday... Here are some pics. I am not very good, but I sure have a blast...

Still not clearing wake, but so close. I've been landing hard on the crest of the opposite side... see where I'm headed in the last pic? In fact, I ate sh*t on that very jump. Mad

Looks like you were the only one out! Today on it will start to get busy I'm sure. How was the water temp?

Greg, there were a few fishing boats in the lot, but no wake boats. And we did not see one other boat on the water all afternoon (3pm - 6pm). It was paradise. Water temp is 57... which is up from 55 in the same sport last Satruday.

It's funny... Pat was supposed to ride with us yesterday but didn't want to drive to Newberg. He said it's same reason he never rides with you. I had to laugh.

One day I'll run into you out there, I'm sure. Laughing

Thanks thats a good link. I talked to Pat this morning and he told me the same thing, he has something aganist the west side for sure. I have honestly been going downtown more than Newberg the over the last year or so but I'm sure our paths will cross soon enough.

Not sure this is the right advice but if you brought the rope in one section assuming it gives you enough room to cut at the wake you could clear it no problem and then let the rope back out.... Just an idea. Eitehr way I give you credit for getting out there before the majority!
